People will look at my photos and often ask, "So what kind of camera do you use?" If you're one of these people, these days I have three options:  a full frame Nikon D800 that often has a 24-120 f4 VR lens attached, a Canon G7x point and shoot, and of course, my phone.  I have found that my style of shooting rarely requires a focal length longer than 120mm.  And when the lens length is needed I can shoot with the D800 / 24-120mm combo and crop in post.

This equipment set-up allows me to travel light and not have to miss opportunities while changing lenses.

When I can dump everything in the car without worrying about carrying it all on my back other lens options include a 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8 VC, 16-35 F4 VR.

In post-processing I use Adobe Photoshop CS6. And I mostly stay within the Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) module.
